Ana María Tudela Martínez (she/ella) is a visiting assistant professor of Spanish at Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³. She received her BA in Hispanic Studies (Philology) from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) and completed her MA in Modern Languages (Spanish) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2026, she defended her PhD dissertation, titled La revolución de las monstruas: poéticas transfeministas en Argentina y Chile (1960-2020). This work delves into the surge of monstrous aesthetics in Contemporary Latin American literature, with a focus on the Southern Cone. Her research and teaching interests revolve around Latin American Literature (mostly contemporary), Decolonial and Transfeminist Theory, and Cultural Studies. She is the author of , an article that explores anti-archival practices in the Argentinian trans community. Ana is currently working on diverse and monstrous projects.
