Subject: Announcing the Reed Promise Initiative

Dear Reed Community,
We are excited to announce a new initiative, the Reed Promise, which will expand access to Reed for more students. The Reed Promise will offer tuition-free education for newly admitted students from Oregon or Washington and transfer students from around the country whose family income is under $100,000 with typical assets.
This initiative is another step along the path of making a Reed education more affordable and accessible. Our commitment to meet 100% of demonstrated financial need will also continue.
